RCCG Pastor, Enoch Adeboye reveals what he will do to the family of late UNIBEN Student, Uwavera

There is outrage in Nigeria on the morning of Sunday 31st May, 2020 following the sad news of the murder of a 22-year-old student of University of Benin, Uwavera Omozuwa in a Church.

The hashtag #JusticeForUwa is currently trending in Nigeria Twitter, with her family appealing for help to track down her killers.

Uwavera was reported to be studying in a "quiet" church near her home in Benin City when she was killed.


Many prominent Nigerians have being voicing out in condemnation of the atrocity against lives in Nigeria.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye is one the prominent voice who has openly condemned the attack the 22 year old student.

In the post he made on Sunday night, the man of God said all he an do at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.

Pastor Adeboye who said he and members of his family condemn the act, advised and urge everyone to stay calm adding that he is already looking into the matter and cooperating with the police to establish the facts of the shocking incident.

His tweet reads: "All I can do at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.
