#NigeriaAt60: Miss Port Harcourt City Queens releases new photos to celebrate Nigeria’s Diamond Jubilee

First October 1960,
Our Great Nigeria gained her Independence.

Freedom, Oh freedom!
The hills and rivers resonated with freedom.

Everyone, including the Rivers people, filled the air with shouts of freedom.

But we fight and haul, forgetting that despite tribe and tongue.
We're all kit and kin.

We are resilient and Great.

And like a bunch of broom,
We must stay strong together.

Not withstanding the tribes or religion.

But understanding that before we became Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo.
Muslims or Christians, we are Nigerians first.

Our strength is in our diversity and uniqueness is in our cultures.

So let us rise as compatriots, as the God of creation directs our noble course.

As we celebrate our  Diamond Jubilee,
Let us hold in our hearts, love, tranquility and unity.

Happy Birthday Nigeria!

Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has made a post on the social media today which has got many people talking considering the revelation of his family life.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode this morning made a 'strange' post on his Facebook timeline which suggested that the controversy over his fourth marriage to former beauty queen, Precious Chikwendu might be irredeemable.

In the post, Fani-Kayode asked "how can there be peace as long as that witch's Jezebel lives?"

Recall it was reported by media platforms that the marriage between Chief Femi Fani-Kayode his beautiful wife, Precious Chinwendu has clashed for alleged domestic violence.

Precious Chinwendu was a former Beauty Queen. They married in 2014 and she was the fourth wife to Chief Femi Fani-Kayode popularly called FFK.

Few years ago, Chinwendu gave birth to triplet of boy, making it her fourth children with him (all the children are boys).
In the post by former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) this morning on his Facebook timeline, he wrote:

"How can there be peace as long as that witch Jezebel lives?"

Meanwhile, some of his Facebook friends have taken to the comment section to react to his post.

Below are some of the comments as captured as at the time of press:

“Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is a commitment. It is a choice to show mercy, not to hold the offence up against the offender. Forgiveness is an expression of love.” –Gary Chapman

"Hope you are not referring to your Precious gift. Social media marriage don't last."

"Silence Sir. It is better that way."

"Sir please forgive her."

The PDP Chairman praised the Clergyman for being wonderful and spirit-filled in discharging his religious duties.

"He is a truly wonderful, kind and Spirit-filled man who has led and steered the affairs of Nigeria's 120 million Chritstians with diligence, humility and wisdom." Femi Fani-Kayode added.

Below are some of the things people are saying in the post:

"Do we still have CAN in Nigeria?, as far as am concerned they are passive or non existing. I normally see him in Aso Rock, that is the only time you see him when he visits Buhari."

"Reverend Ayokunle is a highly respectable man who doesn't look down on people. May God help Christian pity in Nigeria."

"So commendable, you deserve it. You are such a huge blessing to the body Christ. To me, you are the most outstanding voice of the Church in Nigeria. May Mercy and Truth preserve you."

"FFK, am really disappointed on this. So discussing National issues are more important than discussions solution
 to your incessant family issues."

"May God answer your prayers my brother, and kudos to CAN for the visit because that is how it suppose to be not like some man God than turn their members to their slave. And if that woman beg you to come back answer her please."

What do you think of Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) to Chief Femi Fani-Kayode home?
